thank you!

agatha a nitecka silver work south east london makers club london design festival

Thank you to all those who came to South East Makers Club last weekend, the Copeland gallery was packed! It was my first time at the London Design Festival. The feedback was amazing, the work on show beautiful.

For those who couldn’t make it here’s a picture of my stall. My friend and studio mate Laura helped me design the display which got many compliments and made me feel very proud. If you are a maker Laura (who is a designer and has a lot of experience in merchandising) is now taking people on for quick display consultations, get in touch with her directly for details. She’s magic!

As a sculptor I used to work with concrete a lot, and it was great to work with it again (after 10 years!) and make these blocks for all the silver and gold pieces I made. Shout out to my favourite photo lab Bayeux for the prints and general moral support. The chunks of wood I used are offcuts from my time at Sebastian Cox’ workshop! A place that partly inspired this new making adventure. Thanks again!
